Loving the build so far. Can't wait to see the final product. Definitely not sparing any expenses it seems.

If you know Ricks last Camaro build, it was 1000 HP

This car is moving along so fast and I love that hood. Did Gary modify a stock hood and increase the size of the cowl? Are you mounting the gauges on the A-pillar or do you have something special planned?

Can't wait to see this car at SEMA this year!

The hood is an all new fiberglass deal being sold by Pete at Showstopper Accessories.

I'm going to modify an Autometer a-pillar gauge pod to work in a convertible.

Here is picture of the idler pulleys on the 2013 SS that replace the power steering pump due to the new electric power steering.

The electric steering is an improvement with great feel and precision, works well with the Pedders upgrades.

Up next guys and gals is the heart of the lion, a Vortech V-3 Supercharger with a large air-to-air intercooler. We are also using Jannetty's upgrade kit that adds a smaller pulley, a less restrictive genuine K&N filter, an additional BOV is also added. A ZR-1 MAP sensor and ZR-1 spark plugs are also part of the up grade kit. The V-3 is Vortech's entry level Camaro head unit but is still capable of 700rwhp+ . For those wanting more you can upgrade to the V-7 Ysi which will mount in the same bracketry.

The V-3 offers smooth linear predictable power and lots of it ! IAT temps are low and efficiency is high. Ted's cam works amazing with this combo.
The kit comes with a Fluidampener too. V-3 has self contained lubrication so need to drill into the oil pan for a return line.
The formed plastic air inlet tube is also nice and mounts the filter in the area where the factory housing was away from the heat of the headers.
The spring loaded blower belt tensioner guarantees good belt wrap and no slippage under high boost. We are using a ten-rib HD belt system.

10-11 psi boost pressure should be fun !
