Forget all the collectors nonsense, they will probably never hit that status, there are way too many of these being built. If it is wrong and you like it, leave it. I personally would make them switch it out.

As someone who collects Camaros, I just thought I'd mentionn that they built over 200,000 '69 Camaros and every single one of them that still exists is a collector car. You think it's nonsense that these cars will be collector cars? I've been offered 25K for my 175 HP 1981 Z/28. If that car is a collector car, this one sure as hell will be.

If you want your car to be a collector, keep it the way it is and get it documented that it was wrong from the factory. If your car is a daily driver, then get it changed to the correct lights.

I disagree with the "collectors" statement.

Anyone can change their red to blue with IOM interior. How would anyone know it was "factory" or not?

Change it out...it's a mismatch. That's my 2 cents.

My IOM interior is orange.

Keep it that way! Like he said...rare. Just document it with written correspondance from dealer detailing same for any resale possibility.

My car also had a factory boo-boo. It mistakenly came with an LS7 under the hood and after a few sleepless nights deciding what to do, I decided to keep it....

I would love for mine to come in that way. I like the orange interior but I am not a fan of the orange ABL. I vote keep it.
