Trading in a convertible for the camaro and can't wait for the Camaro to come in a convertible so a sunroof is a must to meet my need of wind in my hair.

I placed the order for our SS yesterday and the sunroof was on our list. My wife and I like the view it offers and headroom is not an issue for us. We've had cars with sunroofs in the past and have enjoyed all of them. We've been driving sports cars for over 40 years and don't have problems with any of them having a sunroof.

I hate that "such and such" is for girls argument. Says who? People say the same about MX-5s, but there are few purer drivers cars out there. It would be a shame to miss out on something just because of some baseless gender identification. Such an accusation is arbitrary. Same with the import accusation. American cars have long has sunroofs, just like everyone else. Leaks and malfunctions are rare. Quality and reliability are so much higher today than in years past. They don't make 'em like they used to - They make them better.

My dog loves the sunroof in my Jeep Liberty. As you see by the picture below, I am going to opt out of the roof altogether.

I like the sunroof and have it on mine. It is larger than my other cars with sunroofs too.

Calm down, I was joking, seems your manhood is the one threatened... Seriously though, I`m giving you a hard time.

I have C6 (which I`m keeping), I can take the roof out on that and have lots of room to ah...do that operation you suggested, sunroof is like in the middle and well I don`t want to sit on the center console or vice versa...Lol... Although I do recall a video of a girl loving her car`s gear shift nob and well a sunroof is ideally positioned or that...

My real reason for no sunroof is 35lbs, trying to get the car to come in as light as possible, weight is a terrible thing when it comes to drag racing, and I love the look of the reverse mohawk. Thats really it.

Oh.. and I really don`t like the fact it doesn`t hide away in the roof, not a big deal , but I would prefer it to be hidden when open.

At first, I hated the way it looked while open. However, I've grown to like it, and after sitting in a Camaro with a sunroof and without, I definitely prefer the sunroof now. It gives the car a great feel, and I could only imagine getting that extra breeze on a beautiful summer day while driving!

The lines in the car looks great with or without a sunroof. No one is really going to notice the slight difference in the shape of your roof, besides hardcore Camaro fans.

No sunroof on the Camaro makes me feel claustrophobic.

There is an aftermarket sunroof that retracts into the roof and lets you keep the reverse mohawk. I will try to find the link.

EDIT: found it...
