Every hundred# is a tenth on average, so weight is always important. We have had Rodney driving...he weighs 50# less than I do.

Haha, I don't think I can go any lower. I'm already a little under 150#.

So what is the plan when it comes to dynoing? Are you going to use the previous dyno or the new one?

At some point after we get this new set in and tuned at Tracy's on the Mustang we really need to get three passes on on the original to have a true before and after on the Mace cams. Since we'll have new runs on the Mustang with the cams only those runs will become the baseline for the cams / heads / intake.

Sounds easy enough. Lol!

12# boost on the LFX?!?! I'm assuming that's not a typo...

not a typo he was running in the 12.xx second 1/4 mile. not 12# boost, I think they are running like 7-9#s if im not mistaken.

Tracy has posted elsewhere that the guy told him he was running 12# of boost.....otherwise if I missunderstood hopefully Tracy or someone can chime in, but again it was said in another thread.

In my opinion, unless the guy altered the IPF kit for more boost himself (which does not necesarily mean better results) , IPF does not offer that much boost. At 7,000 rpm, their kit makes around 8psi of boost at sea level.

No, no typo.....he claims he put an overdrive pulley on and is running 12# boost. I expect the LFX will do 8-10# w/no fuel issues, but he is running great and mostly low 13's but have seen him break 12.90's. I know nothing other than seeing him run every week and what he has told us. Great guy and nice car and he is happy.

We are running low 13's high 12's on the RX Sc systems on 5-6# but our 60' seems consistantly lower and his MPH was higher....but ours are all LLT and his is a LFX so more power & fuel available right from the start. Hope to see kmagriz 1/4 mile w/his LFX soon.
