How do you like the Lambo doors? I may have to buy some for convenience and not looks. Our parking spaces are designed for smart cars and everyone drives hummers and semi's. I always end up with someone parked close to me and can only open my door half way.

Unfortunately, they may not suite the needs your looking for because they have to open up horizontally half way before going vertical. The doors are just for aesthetics at car shows. I knew that going into it though and would get them again in a heartbeat.

Yeah I knew they opened half way-ish, which is why I was considering it. I can only open half way in the lots anyway and at least it would swing up and hopefully allow more entry room.

Very true . In that case, you should enjoy them. As long as they are installed correctly, the doors should be great for years to come. They've made my car easier to work on for certain mods I was installing.

Actually I'm just trying to justify the expense by using limited space as an excuse.

Crap, sorry to hear about this.

I have an idea, if everyone in this thread who has dealt with atleast one dead battery after installation of these taillights (and you believe that they could be the culprit), copy and paste the list below with your screen name added to it, so we can start getting a count when everyone sees this thread. I'll then update the list on the very first post of this thread.

List of individuals with inoperable batteries due to taillight installation:

1.) TCAT
2.) Christianmotox
3.) Tom D
4.) KARLOR
5.) SSMOKN

I can't wait to get mine in now.

How long does it normally take before anyone notices the lights blinking? Few hours, couple days? My car will sit sometimes 2-3 weeks while I'm traveling and this will be completely unacceptable. We shouldn't have to but, I think we can find a work-around.

I'd like to see some installed that have this issue before I get mine in to see if we can find a cause/solution.

I'm still dumbfounded as to why this would occur especially when the car doesn't seem to be pulling abnormal voltage at rest.

I noticed my dead battery within a little over 2 months of eachother. However, within that time, the car didn't completely sit. I drove it at least 4-6 times.
