I agree gotta be the weight difference. I would think the MR on a 1LE would make it even better, but also more $$$$.

Awesome review and what an awesome sound! I really want one in red....or black. Best deal for a new car you can take to the track and still drive it home after.

Honestly, as much as I love my Mustang and all the mods I got on it, the 1LE has intrigued me a lot, but with the 6th gen so close, and the new Mustang right around the corner, I want to see what the new generation offerings will bring. 1LE is making it very hard to hold off though. I went from a Z28 to a GT, and I do not have any brand preference at all, so I am super excited about the new stuff coming out.

Cool. These are exciting times. I'll keep an eye on the Mustang and will probably learn more about the next gen from my brother in law than anywhere else but I could never buy one.

Will this car run with the 5.0 in the quarter? i remember back when the 5.0 came out all buzz was that it was a high-12 second car and the SS was a low-13 second car. Now, in addition to all the great reviews on the 1LE's handling abilities, i'm seeing 12.7 second in the quarter, but no one really seems impressed by that. 1/2 second gain in the quarter mile seems pretty impressive to me, especially w/ no added HP, am i missing something?
