Another lead connected to the same positive lead terminal better not be negative!
![]() Wonder if we are referring to same post, will take a pic. It has a red battery terminal style cap and a not underneath which is actually a bolt |

Took a look today. Yea saw what you're talking about. Definitly a another red postive lead. I saw it's attached to the frame and runs over to the passenger side so I would think it goes to the starter as that's where the starter is located.

My key has been getting stuck in the ignition lately. Tried turning the steering wheel side-to-side, turned it on and shut it off several times, and put it in drive and in park several times. Key is always getting stuck now. Additionally, the remote start won't work either. The lights flash like it is going to start, but it never starts. I can get in and turn it on with no problems... could it be the battery is going dead????

Shift lock was bad. They changed out the entire shift assembly. Said it was a common issue with the 5th gen Camaros.
