Just have to know hwere to get parts, I bought my blower from Beefcakeracing AKA Terry Reeves, used militray discounts or black friday sales to get others. And bought a Boss intake wen first came out from Tousley Ford. I didn't sit watch them jump in price liek most people. You could just got bigs/littles for $550 shipped for rims over xmas as every one was getting rid of the unilug racestars. Oh I also got my new Dynatech driveshaft for $580 shipped. |

This thread makes me smile. Loving reading this stuff. (not being sarcastic here)
Let's not forget a GOOD tune helps out huge. Those 5.0's,.....man, they got some nasty torque when you start modding them puppies. Love those 5.0's 'stangs. A beautiful and nice running machine. I agree the OP should look into a better wheel/tire setup for the track. That will help a lot. Good luck. |

Since when does cutting 1.8/1.9 on street tires suck lol. You only ran an 11.4 with your m6 and a tire? Doesn't Shaun from aed break into the 10's on a tire with less mods then both of us. Either way a cam and a tire won't give him 7.5 mph. |

WBT on s197/modularfords went a tenth faster then Shaun with less mods actually. And a cam, and doing bigs/little's can help him gain a lot. Big cam to gain 40-60hp then dropping as much as 130lbs roll weight. His car will be a lot faster then you think. Will come down to driver. from the famous tapatalk |

I can care less about what my car runs in the quarter mile. My concern is how high my car will trap. I'd rather run a 12.3 at 118 mph than run 11.8 at 115. I also wanted to make it clear that Debro ran his 11.8 at 121 mph prior to his headers and dyno tune. He did it with boss intake manifolds, axle back, H pipe, and a tune. He hasn't yet run his car since he got his headers and dyno tune.

Thanks bro. At the time I did 121 I had and AED tune but I have had tunes from just about everybody exept VMP. They all seem to preform relatively the same. The main difference was customer service which I felt AED was the best in that regard. I recently installed pypes headers and now have a REv Auto dyno tune. I'm going to atco on Friday so I can see how much I gained
