You'll love em. Light weight, replaceable rings, very efficient. Did you get new pads?

I have 4K on the original pads, not replaced them yet. I looked last night, lots of material left on the original pads. I am familiar with the replaceable rings. I had an AP Racing six piston 15" kit on my supercharged Escalade. Very easy to remove and replace. I still need replacement seats to install, come on GM release those Recaro's! Thanks for helping me spend money today 69NMYSS.

Lol, no problem. There are plenty of members that help me spend mine all the time.

Recaros come stock in my evo.
No up or down adjustment, just side bolsters that gas a knob.
If they come with power anything, that's a real nice seat to park the man tail.

Maybe you get better seats idk, recaros are usually to save weight.

Power or no power, I decided that I have to have one of these for my SS, the driver's seat only though. In addition to being half the price vs. buying both, the stock seat is probably more comfortable for my wife (who doesn't ride with me when racing seats are "needed" anyway. ). I don't think it will look too out of place either, the headrest design is similar and hopefully the SS versions will say "SS" just the same as the current seats. It'll make me feel more special as the driver having a 'driver focused' seating arrangement.

Having been T-boned, I like the idea of the seat-mounted airbags so I haven't wanted to buy aftermarket seats for that reason alone. Initially I was REALLY hoping the ZL1 would come with Camaro-specific racing seats, I was bummed when it didn't. Now that they're going to make an SS version too... more better!

Thank you GM!

Just my opinion, but isn't it going to look odd with just one seat. I have seen young kids in imports do that and it looks really tacky. It's like they are stating I can't afford two seats so I will buy one! What happens when someone other than your "wife" rides in the car? Try riding as a passenger in your own car with the stock seats the feeling is terrible, I tried it in my ZL1 and was not impressed.

Very few other people ever ride in my car, and I care about my wife more than them anyway. I don't even ride in my car... I drive it.

Aside from all that... correct... I can't afford both! (Seriously though, even if I could... I'd still only get one for the reasons stated).
