Amen to that, I've given up fixing my car after some a hole hits it every few months. I totally know how KK2010SS feels, insurance won't pay for it unless you have the guy/gal in handcuffs.

First I want to say, I did not start this thread to make accusations about WHO might have hit my car and I hope we can keep this tread on topic from here on out. Now with that being said, if anyone sees a car or truck in Austin with Imperial blue metallic paint on the front right bumper, please give me their license plate number!

Now on with the update. I dropped my car off at the body shop yesterday and should have her back sometime late tomorrow. Here is a link to a current picture (sorry I can’t upload photos from work). Hopefully this is a view of the Camaro none of you ever have to see…

Most of you are wrong, this isn't a case of stupidity, it's a pure case of jealousy. It's horrible how horrible people can be.

A few times people have left big dents in my car and just drove away apparently while I was in class or something. Horrible people.

I take it back.. stupidity breeds jealousy.

when i had my first new car (well it was 3 years old when i got it) my 95 40th anniversary ford thunderbird coupe. I was in a parking lot in a shopping center outside of my town of port orange florida. my car is like sky blue with dark blue interior. because of the color and the fact that the plastic fascias are white (unlike the black ones on Monty

) i can see any larger than normal scratches/scrapes on my car. well i came out of the store and there was a HUGE scrape on the back bumper of my car on the right side. it spanned the top of the bumper to the bottom of the bumper and was about 3-5 inches wide

. of course the 'waste of space' did not leave a note or nothing and there were people who said they saw it but could NOT remember the make/model or plate number. i went to my friends body shop and he told me it would cost me minimum 500-600 bucks to repaint that bumper. it would be cheaper to repaint the whole car then to repaint that one bumper. so since it was plastic and would not rust i left it as is. but funny thing about 2 years later a guy backed into my passenger side quarter panel while i was in the car and he had his insurance pay for it and my body shop guy in town repainted the bumper when he repainted the quarter, talk about a win win
