If you your car has only had good fuel in it then it will not have dropped to the low octane map and the fuse pull will not accomplish anything. It is not bogus, your car just didn't need it.

I just did this on my '14 ls3 and it seemed healthier. Not sure if it's a placebo effect or for real, either way I'll take what I can lol. Thanks

I've done it twice and haven't noticed any change. The second time is after I filled my truck with regular and instead of resetting the pump to premium went directly to the Camaro and filled it. Doh!!! So I know it had low octane in it. At the next fill up I filled with premium and pulled the fuses. I noticed nothing. I'm certain it doesn't hurt anything to try but I'm skeptical that it does anything. You would think with all the experts and tuners here someone could do a test and conclusively show whether it works or not. Maybe somebody has, but I haven't seen it.

still stock, but when I reflashed my PCM to disable the skip shift, I also copied the high octane table values into the low octane table ... lol
