i would say he is trained, and the unit is calibrated. they usually stay on top of that stuff.

they really just want the money, go to court and get it reduced to a non moving violation, pay the fine, and be done.

41 is 16 mph over 25 and yes it could be an honest mistake but if it was then is not the fault of the officer. D-bag was the word the poster used. Asshole and Dick are the words that you used. So you want to explain who is doing the name calling.

My opinion is mine I didn't realise that according to Slowmaro that I must be helpful. If you don't like what I say then I can accept that but I will not lower my standards to become the person you are being on here by choosing the names that you are calling me. Your opinion was based off of false information? You changed everything I said.. The cop was d-bag for sitting outside of a freaking bar at 1am- aka: entrapment. I was completely respectful to him I explained myself.. I was at my house in my work uniform.. I was not out partying it up. I realize I made a mistake, but come the eff on. If i was driving my ford fiesta I would not have gotten that ticket. case closed.

Ok, you obviously can't prove that you wouldn't have received the ticket if you were driving the fiesta. That being said I would fight the ticket and argue the lack of a posted limit. And btw, anyone who says they haven't done 6 over what they thought the limit was is just plain lying!

All I know is it pays to be massively polite to the officer, and to strike up a conversation with him that is not pertinant to the reason he stopped you. On a trip to VA, a state trooper pulled us over for doing 80 in a 65. By saying that we were going to look at W&M he liked that because we were going to look at a state university that could possibly take hundreds of thousands of dollars of our money and give it to the state, much more than a petty speeding ticket would add to state revenue! Be honest polite and amicable and almost always the ticket will be dropped!

Entrapment is when the officer tells you its ok to speed and then writes you a ticket for it. What does your uniform and being at your house has to do with speeding out in the street. If you had been out partying it up he would have given you more tickets and yes I believe he still would have probably given you a ticket in the Fiesta also. I'm sorry that you dont agree with me but you ranted about him doing his job.
