Stant website now shows 10504 as the locking gas cap number for 5th gen Camaro, but also lists several interchange numbers, 11504 being one of them. I'm sure you're good to go with either.

I have the 11504 on, and it works great with no problems. I thought the 10504 was the old number, as that cap wasn't even on the rack with the rest of the caps.

Just got the Stant 11504 from advance auto parts too. I work at a mall 50 hours a week so im not taking any chances! My former cars have been egged and actually plowed into while at work so god knows I need to take all precautions i can! It fits good and puts my mind at ease for sure now!

I just ordered the 10504 through amazon, and it asks you what kind of vehicle you have so you know that it fits before you buy it.

Do you have to have some kind of degree to be an attendant on a gas station in NJ ?

Definitely not, unless the degree came from a Cracker Jack box. I grew up in the burbs of NYC, and at the time I had an RX-7 that had a hood prop stick to keep it open. On the NJ Turnpike, after the guy checked my oil, he just pushed down on the hood like I had hydraulics, and bent the frickin' thing. Thanks!

Off topic, but couldn't resist -

Warning
If you go to the Auto Zone website (using year 2010 because 2011 will not give you any fuel cap results), they show 2 CST Fuel Caps that WILL NOT FIT.
6840 (non-locking)
5903 (locking)

They are not even the same type - ours has a screw top then clicks, the above caps have the 2 triangles on the sides instead.
I'm going with the Stant screw-on cap.

After reading this thread recently I got a Stant cap off Amazon.com. Works very well, no CEL or anything. Just use the Amazon tool to check for products appropriate for the Camaro, and you're good!

Just a question for the people who have the 11504, does it feel cheaply built? Because reviews on the 10504 say it feels cheap. Thanks

I have the Stant locking cap as well. It came off my old Suburban and fit on the Camaro. Been holding up fine for the last 2-3 years...
