Not to worry, I got my money out of it, I have another coming in 2 weeks, it is already built. It is the same as the one I just sold except the new one Is RS/SS which is what I had orgionally wanted. I kept the 21" wheels from the first one (the new buyer did not want them) so I have the best of both worlds. The new one does not have the sun roof but I really did not want one. My biggest worry that the new one will be slow as well. I am sure that they are fast enough for some, but not for me!

26 hp isnt going to fix the problem these guys are having. it has to be in the tune and the tm or some other issue

once the dealer admits there is a problem, they get them self in a bind because then they have to come up with a fix and in a reasonable amount of time, after so many days at the dealer for the same issue the lemon law can take over and cars can be bought back by the manufacture.

would be nice if they found an issue somewhere in the tune that was causing the issue and all that was needed was an ecm/tcm re-program

i only drove mine stock for 500 miles but it really didnt feel like a high 12 low 13 sec car at all, and i know mine would not spin the tires from a dead stop when i got it with traction and stabilitrac turned off, i thought this was kind of odd for a 400hp engine, but it is too late for me to do any complaining,,lol im luvin the car now!!

And what if your 'new' L99 turns out to be another dog. Are you going to sell it again and get a V6, or modify it to suit your taste? Sounds like you were never really happy w/ the car to begin with, let alone its performance..imo.

I wonder where these "performance tests" will be conducted?? 0-60 blasts on city streets is illegal in Illinois and I doubt most dealers lots are big enough to safely do it.

I'd want to know where and how they will conduct these tests. Maybe a local dyno??

They did mine on a side road with only 2 tie in's. It is actually just an access road to and old farm and storage area. Little longer than a 1/4 mile.

My plan is to refuse delivery and wait until they get the bugs out or come out with an automatic Z/28. Look at the 2010 Challenger with 500 hp automatic.

I posted yesterday thanking everyone for the power of prayer. Her fever broke and she got new blood. We got her home this morning at 2:00AM. She is sitting on her computer playing the Sims 3 right now.
