Finally!! CamaroI Build Thread Begins!! IOM Camaro [COTW 2/10/14]
For all those looking to get a leather style manual boot for there Automatic. Prior to taking things apart be sure to make cut outs as shown below. This is done to prevent a gap between the cluster and boot.
The red line shows a better notch out to eliminate any gaps between boot and gauge cluster. Notches also need to be made on the tabs to allow boot to slide upwards. Hope this helps ![]() On completion ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That is correct 3/8 16 size is basically all you need when ordering from Epco. No adaptor needed. Epco does include a large style "positioning nut" with knob, but discard that. Its way to big.
CFD will send thinner washers along with shifter to help aline the knob. Be sure to keep those handy. If you purchase a knob with graphics or lettering use a couple to line up correctly. Hope that helps |
