To each their own. I think it is a winner.

Yeah, that is a good question.... One which I can't answer right now since I have not had the pleasure of driving my Camaro much since I purchased it last month. The thing is, a person needs to consider what does it more for him or her. Is it styling? performance? cost to operate? maintenance req? purchase price?
All 3 of these major modern muscle cars offer different levels of success and some failure I suppose. All 3 of these cars do something better than each other. That's why I own all 3, because I found I love and dislike several things on each of these cars. If you had the opportunity to drive a different one every day you would definitely see it as I do now.
I figured out a while ago, for me, there is no one perfect car, period. Having multiple cars to drive and appreciate ensures I never get tired of any of them. I became unfocused on any particular let down of any of these cars. Hopefully in time I can come up with a better answer...

Oh one more thing I like to point out real quick. It makes no financial sense to own 3 depreciating sports/muscle cars for one person. The upkeep, the insurance and the fact you can't really drive/use all three cars to a level that makes any kind of logistical intelligence...

But it is fun as hell!!! I am a MSgt in the USAF, 20 years plus now, I don't make a heck of a lot of money and I just wanted to do what only a few ever get to experience, was it worth it? So far, hell yeah, but don't do it, I am sure I will regret it some how when I realize how much better another 401k could've been, lol.

Thanks for your answer. You confirm something I think about. I want to buy a second muscle car. Will not give up the first, too much sweat and money in modifying it to feel, handle, ride, accelerate and brake to my satisfaction. $15k worth. It is no where near the powerful cars on the street today. The engine is highly tuned but still 300 HP n/a class. I keep telling myself one will sit and the other will drive, so dream about it but don't do it. On the other hand new stuff (400+ HP) is tempting. I like your comment about no perfect car, I think that is true. Good luck.

One more thing about multiple cars

It is hard to concentrate on tuning multiples. You need to live with a car to really get it right. Example: I went through three driver seats before finding the SCAT drifter seat. The seat makes a big difference. I raised the clutch pedal two inches. The car fits. If the car fits wear it (out).

When I look at the 2015 Mustang coupe I see definite resemblance to the gen 5 Camaro. You hit on everything I see. The rear fenders, the roof treatment, the front profile, all suggest Camaro lines to me, but I have kept quiet. I think you are right on Q. I see what you see. Camaro not only set a bar for power, I think the styling gets on the Muscle car landmark list also.
Thanx! I think this conversation was great because there wasn't any bias opinions. We both know our stuff!
