Nice Job
Haha thanks. That was my first time at this track and second time at an HPD event. After my first road course event in May I'm hooked.

And yes I was having trouble with that part of the track. For whatever reason it didn't feel natural taking those apex's, room for improvement for sure.

Three more laps from Watkins Glen on July 10. These would have been faster than the previous three I posted but traffic held me up some.

That track and Laguna Seca are the top of my bucket list to drive! Although there's a lot better chance of my driving to NY than California! I'll bet the fence on either side really feels narrow coming out of the esses?

Nice, thanks for posting!

I drove to Watkins from NC this year, it was worth every nickle. The speed, grip, bumpiness like Sebring over the esses, closeness of armco, all of it. Can't wait for the next trip. I've done a lot of east tracks, VIR, Sebring, Road Atlanta, Mid Ohio, Watkins is my favorite. Would love to try COTA and Barber.

My East coast list in no particular order:

Barber, Road Atlanta, Summit Point, Limerock, The Glen.

My all time would be Laguna, The Glen & Road America.

Looks like your fastest lap was following the Porsche. Sometimes I feel like I get faster following guys with good lines for a few laps. Seemed like the Porsche guy had decent lines

I have never been to Watkins, but if you like that track better than mid-ohio, I might have to try it out. I LOVE Mid-ohio. That track takes skill to drive fast.

He actually held me up. The lap I caught him was 2.5 seconds slower than my fastest lap. The lap he pointed me by out of Turn 7 (Toe of the boot) was 1.0 seconds slower than my fastest in the previous session. The video in Post # 70 has my fastest lap at 1:29.77.

Lapping night at ICAR; Starts to get good on lap3, past the 6 minute mark, running down a 2015 WRX, Porsche Boxter, Porsche 911 GT, a track prep VW jetta, and a 2014 Mustang 5.0

Here's a few laps from my first day at NJMP thunderbolt earlier this year. At Track Time 4 Cars we run it with the chicane. My slicks corded earlier that day, so these are on the stock Goodyears (I actually like them despite what others may think).

Laguna Seca this past weekend. Fastest lap of this session was 1:48.902 which was good considering the amount of traffic! Lol

Part 1

Part 2
