Some updates!

I will be taking delivery Saturday morning.

-Xpel
Will go on Friday, earliest appointment I could get. The dealer only allows 3 guys to do the Corvettes and Camaro's so limited open slots. No problem, I really want the film put on before she sees many miles. Paid for it today in advance.

-Rock Guards
I need to email Apex Chase about this. There is NO way the rear set will fit the 2014 and I ordered the 2014 set. There is a big indent (facing back towards wheel well) in the guard and not a matching cutout in the wheel well for it to slip into. I am not cutting into the wheel well. For now I have too much other stuff to do to mess around with this, so it will have to wait. I left the Gorilla locks with the dealer, those will go on.

-Walk Around and QC Check
The car looks sinister!

Ok that said, it was still full sunlight when I arrived so I had to make sure the look of the car did not dazzle me too much

I could not find any scratches, dents, or other blemishes. The car was pretty dusty so I reserve the right to go over it again Saturday. Still, the fit and finish was top flight (Thanks Oshawa!) and the car seems to have been well cared for in transit.

I finished up the paperwork, and close on Saturday morning. I will register on Monday, but it's a transfer so I can drive the car all weekend!!!

I also changed my insurance this week and it sucks having a busy and demanding day job trying to juggle a bunch of phone calls this week about the car. Guess I just can't wait for it to be over and have the car here to enjoy.

NR, it's been a rough week for me! Work has been crazy busy (remind me to tell you what I do, the Irony is hilarious) and I have not had the time to look into the rear guards. I will PM Apex tonight, hope this gets cleared up. The Catch Can, the lugs, the Lloyds mats have all been on time and great.

Excited, but to be 100% honest I am a little scared.

Never had a car like this, never was this excited about one. Just a bit tense tonight but I think when I see her all cleaned up and ready to come home all will be well.

I need a beer. Or three.
