I'm new to the board and have been a ls1 owner for about two weeks. Love these cars ! Being an old guy ( 47 ) I've been watching the "light posturing" for over 30 years, this was probably going on for another 30 before me. Our cars just look fast and do send a message that we may want to play ?? There are a lot of funny posts in this thread but some of you remind me of the girls with large breasts who wear low cut tops wondering why people keep staring at their chests. If you're going to put it out there, you don't always get to choose the type of attention you get. I guess what I'm trying to say is if you didn't want to be noticed you probably should not have bought such a cool car.

When I'm on a multi-lane road and first at a stop light and another vehicle is next to me, I often observe a lot of people who I perceive are trying to "out race" me off the line - and I'm not even heavy on the accelerator. All I'm thinking is; "Geeze. Way to rag your car out."

Few sleepers around here to watch out for. Buddy has a 580 fwhp civic with not one sticker on it. Has a turbo on it that you could shove your arm in lmao! Car smoked my kenne bell 03 cobra like I was standing still. The only time I won was when he popped a motor running me (closed track of course) dude is a scary mechanic had it back up and running in a day or so! Oh and he only hung around the V8 guys too
