It's not quite that bad since we keep them on our own property, so no boarding fees. I try not to think about the amount of money I've spent on them over the years though, lol. The benefit is I don't get any crap about doing whatever I want with my cars and bikes.

You are the mirror image of my friend, he has said the exact same thing! She even told me she doesn't give him "shit" about it. They are doing okay anyway, double income, no kids. He has acquired 3 motorcycles thanks to the horses.
