Not Butt hurt at all. My SS can out do a Zl1 any day. Just in comparison Hellcat, GT500 and Zl1 are in same category. With mods and one of the three, challenger, mustang or camaro, can handle well and go fast. Best part of the hellcat is with no mods it is very quick. With no mods the ZL1 only has 480 to the rear wheels. The GT500 pounces that by 80. Once we see a hellcat on a dyno we can then say by how much more.

AS for handling not many people are going to push any one of the 3 to their limit on handling , so handling is a mute point, and if you are one of the few that will push it there are mods you still will want to any one of them. Main point most will car about is how fast it can get from 0-60.

On weight and roadcoarse both the Zl1 and challenger are heavy.I believe they are within 200 lbs of each other. A Z/28 or 2010 SS is best choice for weight. After 2010 GM started adding in HUD and other features adding to weight.which means you have to eliminate more to get weight down to offset for roll cage weight.

Just had lunch with my kids the other day, walking out of the restaurant a couple walk by us after passing my car. The guy says to his girl, "That is the ultimate car". No further discussion necessary!

The 0 to 60 MPH might not be that good on the street but I bet it goes like hell when you hit it on the highway.

Problem with all of these new cars is you can't begin to safely experience it on the street. I'm fortunate to have Road America, Milwaukee Mile and Great Lakes Dragaway near.

that's also true, and there are more road courses starting to pop up too.

Ill make this argument, The Z/28 is the ultimate road course camaro, yet some people on here still wanted to know how it will do in the 1/4 mile and most Z faithful went off on them saying it doesn't matter because that's not what it was built for.

Looks to be the same case here, Dodge built a car for bragging rights and to be a bad ass street machine

Exactly bro. You're reiterating my point.
Doesn't the Z06 weigh A LOT LESS than the HC? I'm putting an exclamation on the HC's power and torque. It's the SAME time as the 2015 Z06 in the 0-60. (Both do mid 3's in the 0-60.) Now, that's fast for a "fat car". lol

You should troll on over to the ZL1's fast list and post up some of those times on here to.
Hero runs probably. But none the less real owners have done pretty good with less hp.

Dear Dodge,

You couldn't get better than a 12.7 out a 505hp RWD car?

Pathetic.

You do know that Skip Shift is not for racing right?

This is going to be fun to watch this backfire.

And you do know that 60HP ain't going to drop your ET 1.3 seconds, right?

Does Dodge have anyone on staff who has drag raced late model RWD cars?

They came from Dodge's Marketing Dept, who apparently has no experience with drag racing at all. But that's OK.

You don't just glue numbers on poster board without knowing what they mean unless you're selling time-share condos.

It's called Fact Checking. They must have slept through Journalism 101.

Stock cars? Remember, we're talking STOCK cars here. No modifications, right? The HC is a stock car. So,...a stock ZL1 will beat a HC in the quarter mile?
I thought the HC was faster than the stock GT500, which is an amazing car, which is faster than the stock ZL1?
This isn't so? Maybe SRT is lying to us then?

What backfire? The exhaust note?
So,....is SRT lying to us about the times? I'm asking you,.............
I'm just posting what they write/say. I guess it's all a fib?
I would like to know the truth before I possibly purchase one in 2016. Are you stating that it will not/cannot happen? I'm being serious, not being a wise guy when asking this.
