Plastic is going to be a hassle to maintain. I think it looks pricier with it painted.

Oh I love it. It wouldn't be on my car if I didn't. It's nice though to find out what other Camaro owners think. Not in the sense that I need others approval but you can get some great idea from the ZL1 section of this forum and I've found poeple to be extremely helpful.

What about also wrapping the roof, top of the trunk, and the spoiler in the same material?

Another idea is to wrap the top part of the car from the well defined body line. That could look cool.

My only other suggestion is to either wrap the gold bowtie or replace it with a black one.

..looks like a 1LE w/ a ZL1 hood insert. And I don't think you want that, do you?

..ok, now that I seen the entire pic, looks more tacky..how about 'Nickey' CF graphics on the hood instead?

Black bowtie's are going on with the new spoiler. I'm unsure about wrapping but I will ask.

That's not bad at all, actually a pretty good idea.

This is what I have so far so please check me:

Cosmetic:

1. Tinted windows

2. Black Bowties

3. black rear spoiler with carbon fiber wicker bill

4. I love my hood but what do you guys think of an all carbon fiber Showstoppers hood? This pic is for an example, just visualize it in all CF.

Performance:

1. Kooks 2" LTH

2. Pulley upgrade

3. Fuel Injectors

4. When summer hit install AFCO dual fans and new coolant reservoir

5. Line lock

6. Roll Cage. I already have the Corbeau seats and 5-point harness just don't have the roll cage yet.

Would that work?

I don't believe what I'm going to say but I think it looks good. The reason for this is that the hood matches the black stripe theme of the car.

On a normal ZL1 I would say no go, but on your car the hood looks good.

I like it! Wrapping the spoiler would definitely add to the theme. Do it!

The car is still at Nickey getting mods and the new rear spoiler from Showstoppers.

This is everything being done to it. If the list seems weird it's because I started with a few things then told the boys at Nickey to just "go for it!"

KOOKS 2" STAINLESS STEEL LONG TUBE HEADERS
KOOKS STRAIGHT CONNECTION PIPES
K900 FUEL INJECTORS/INSTALLED
10% PULLEY UPGRADE
NICKEY PLUG WIRES
ATI DAMPER/INSTALLED
AMSOIL FULL SYNTHETIC OIL/FILTER CHANGE
ROLL BAR
6 POINT CHROMOLY .95WALL/SCCA
ROAD COURSE DESIGN ROLL BAR UPGRADE
STAGE I CAM KIT
BOOST A PUMP
PORT UPPER SNOUT & 2.55" PULLEY CHANGE
PORTED THROTTLE BODY
UPGRADED TRUNION KIT
TUNE

Lots of pics, dyno video, dyno sheet coming soon.

Thanks everybody for your comments!
