Should get a group that does this as a business liked Hooked on Driving, Chin, TrackDaze etc... and let them run the program. They also provide class room instruction and certified coaches for novice groups etc... That is what the Mustang Convention did @ Savannah a while back, contracted with Hooked on Driving to run the event @ Roebling.

As far as going this once per hour to give the others a break, that doesn't look like it's going to happen. We want to give the paid drivers as much track time as possible and if we have 4 heats running 22/23 per heat at 15-20 min each, we are going to run them back to back as much as possible until lunch. While we do lunch, non racers will go for a parade lap at a minimal expense which can later be donated to a special cause or something.
Thanks guys! I appreciate the consideration!

Im aware that I may be a little late to this conversation but with the fun that I had out at Phoenix for Camaro5Fest II on the road course, I am very interested in this and fully understand the amount that this would run and would pay for an experience that would generate.

If its a real Track Day event then put me down.

If its a parade lap, then I will go spend the money to go to a track day somewhere else. A parade that is like getting your sack clipped. It might be fun for some to go around a race track.

I understand cost and all, but I don't have feathered hair, so I can wear a helmet.

Come on Chevy Built Two camaro's dedicated to track days, you can't have a national event with a parade lap. SVT Days has track days. Its time to put on the big boy pants.

They are only talking about parade laps for those who don't want to do full out laps & to reduce the cost for those of us who do!

I second the list idea, but I thought I read you would open it when negotiations with the track were further along.

Why so negative.. Pretty sure in a previous post we mentioned we have the track reserved. Certainly not just for a parade lap.

Details, list and all will get going soon next year.
