Why do the tips make a difference in sound? And I was wondering for the quad tip system are they 4 inches diameter of smaller?

Does anybody know if the retro chambered and atak are louder than the npp? Thinking about getting one of the two. I'm running kooks long tubes now with cat delete pipes and npp. It's loud now but I've already got used to it and want louder.

They don't. I don't recall off hand what size they are in the quad system but I'll find out and let you know.

The SW Retro is very loud, almost too loud.. there is a slight drone around 1800-2100 rpm or so but nothing to complain about. Overall it is very nice. I just wish I could hear it from behind while I'm driving as I'm sure it sounds better from behind.

Has anybody tried Borla's ZL1 ATAK system? It runs larger piping, either 2.75" or 3" and has quad tips like the SW exhaust. Granted, it's also even more expensive than the standard ATAK system, but I didn't even know it existed until recently.

Weather I get the sw or atak I'm getting the one for the zl1 mainly because of the quad tips and I have the npp diffuser but also it is 3in which will allow for room to grow although according to summits website the zl1 atak is 2.75.

Can you guys do some of these videos on cars with headers? With and without cats?

I've been considering a SW system but I know it will be much louder on a car with headers and no cats.

Here is the Retro Chambered with a set of Stainless Works 1 7/8 headers and high flow cats (part #: CA11HDRCATST). I do not have a video with no cats but you should expect it to be slightly louder and with a slightly less deep tone.

That car also has a cam so I wouldn't expect it to sound quite that nasty.
