Where the tire meets on the inside of the rim is a lip of protection.

Rear shot of the 305's.

Hmm I guess that's how it is when getting wide tires but I would've preferred flush like my stock Pirelle

And looks good from the back

First shot looking down the front. Second shot looking down the rear. The front sticks out more than the rear. Rear is flush with the fender.

I got mine on today. The temps were mid 30's, snow and ice melting off the road. Traction was real good, especially compared to the GY's. I doubt you would want to run around a track with them, but as an everyday driving tire, they are excellent. I drove around half a day with them and for me they will do just fine. Given the fact that they are affordable makes it even better. I am storing the take off GY's in my heated shop, for what I am not sure but whatever. These BFG's are an excellent all around tire I think for the ZL1. I put thd 285's up front and the 305's in the rear, totally stock and no rubbing. One thing I did find that pissed me off was the inside of the rims have not been painted black. I thought that was BS. These wheels are like 900 plus per rim from GM. Yet they don't sport a complete paint job.

I have Conti DWS and one thing I don't like is not having the stock size. Sounds like these will be a good replacement when the time comes. As far as the paint, I figure less paint less weight. Speaking of weight, I wonder how the BFG's tip the scale?

Just put the BF Goodrich's on my ZL1 today - stock sizes. Really like the look of them. They're so substantial and symmetrical - the GY's off look like they may as well be slicks in comparison. Thought I'd put the GYs back on in summer, but really hate that they follow every groove in the road, and may just sell them.

Will report in a few weeks after driving on them daily. Can't beat the price - delivered to installer from Tirerack with tax - $758 for the set of 4. WOW!

Went to my local Discount Tire today and got told pretty much the same thing. They wouldn't even sell them to me , told me I had to get the Michelin Super Sport because it's the only tire with the correct tire weight rating.

Funny that you can got to Tireracks website and if you use the selector to pull up a Zl1 and search for tires it gives you the BFG"s.

PM Rudy the TR rep and see what he says....

Just got mine installed yesterday... Came in from tire rack delivered to installer.

Excellent tire so far ... Low road noise better traction in the cold (30s-40s) and they don't sling every little pebble into my underbody...

756.60$ delivered to Manteca Tire and 80$ To mount

According to Goodyear and BFGs websites the fronts and rears have same load rating at 100/104 but Y vs W speed ratings...
