Mace Cams to be installed next Wednesday the 20th.......thanks Jason for use of tools! Tune to hopefully follow Monday the 25th or Wednesday the 27th ..... the suspense builds!!

I think the sound will be very similar to the LLT that had the cam install. He's a member on here and posted a video a while back.

I don't wanna rain on anyone's parade but until DGM posts his results I'm not gunna expect too muh sound from these cams. I googled some Holden vehicles with these cams and didn't hear too much chop or anything. I do hope a nice sound is picked up though!

According to Mace, the lobe separation angle is controlled by the tune so if that is true then some of the chop will depend on the tuner and will you have to give up performance to get chop, that i do not know.

(not really sure tho) I like the sound of these motors though, as long as they have an xpipe. I'm not sure I would even want my V6 to be choppy and cammed out sounding. I'll leave that for the V8's.. I like my smooth idle! |

I think this is the year we will see a successful push of cars into the 11's, even if its 11.9's.
