I'm not saying they'll call it "ZL1" but I predict there will be some kind of supercharged Gen6. Especially if Ford does a GT500 or if Dodge keeps building the Hellcat.

I think if Chevy can easily and cheaply transplant some parts from the CTS-V into another body like the Camaro, they'll do it to appeal to more buyers.

ZL1 being the supercharged LT4 downtuned to be about 635 HP (they won't release a Camaro more powerful that the strongest Vette) and the Iroc being the road course version at around 500hp

O also expect a Capo...

Yet the CTS-V gets 640hp and the last ZL1 had +30hp on the CTS-V. Given both ride on the Alpha platform, I wouldn't expect anything less than 640hp in the ZL1 - a negligible difference from the 650hp in the Z06.

I'm thinking they will continue along those lines with the new platform. Just don't call it a ZL1-V!

And 8spd auto 200 lbs lighter with some big meat on the back from the factory and I bet a better 1/4 like time than the fat kitty. Or have track or strip options available with boosted hp, call them special editions so you dont hurt the corvettes feellings.
