4'' x 6'' would be about right(4.25x6.25) the ends are odd shaped. I don't mind the round tips but the rectangles look much cleaner. The round tips could be rotated slightly to fit the angle of the openning. The GFX ends are curved toward the wheel opennings

I can tell you I put my manual in 6th gear up hill at 55-60 MPH and there is NO DRONE. You can hear the engine laboring under load between 1700-2000RPM, but No Headaching droning............and I hate drone!

I'd love to hear these on a L99. It sounds great on a manual.

One of the Forum members with the L99 is supposed to be getting installed this weekend, so I am sure they will report in soon!

Man I'm on the Fence. Can't decide on the Axel back or Cat Back System.

I like to hear it, when I want to hear it, but I want to be able to have a conversation going down the highway too!

The cat-back will make more power. It's definitely not too loud...conversation is NOT a problem.

I had both on my car for the mock ups and got to drive them. The axle back sounds sweet, and I was happy with it. But once they put the Mach X on, all I can say is it was PERFECT. Smooth sexy sound, much better throttle response, and it gave a voice to the LS3. If you listen to the clips you can hear it. It is Refined, but yet powerful sounding.

West Coast Availability

Okay Steve, Is there a SOLO dealer near the west coast anywhere. It would be a weeks worth of vacation to have an exhaust system installed. Will this system be shipable to have it installed by a local shop? If so, Can the system have alignment marks so we don't get a sloppy job? Just asking.

Also, I like the system that was installed. It looks very symmetrical, nice lines. I'm sure it sounds great. Nice job to you and your crew!
I went to cruise night for the "End of the World" Rod Run in Long Beach Washington and was embarrassed at the wimpy sound my stock system had compared to the Thousands of Horse Power rumbling down the street. I need help Please!

Thanks

We don't have any dealers on the West Coast, but we ship our kits anywhere in the United States. Shipping is included in the price. The system is mirror-image, so any shop that is qualified should be able to remove the stock system and install the new one in under an hour (it took us 50 minutes, start to finish).

We actually just sold 2 kits to Camaro owners in California.

The auto hasn't come into the shop yet. We have a G8 coming in today, which uses the same AFM system that the automatic does. We will be able to transfer that technology over to the Camaro kit.

We did, though, get another volunteer that will be scheduling to come in early next week with an L99.Stay tuned! It's going to be great!
