living in L.A. and driving PCH through Malibu regularly, I agree.

but can we please stop using the phrase "Camaros are a dime a dozen" or "SS Camaros are a dime a dozen" -- they're more like "$500,000 a dozen"

are we really at the fiscal point where $00.10 = $500,000.00?!?!?!

Toyota sells almost 500,000 Camrys in one year. That's a better example of a too common car; so is the Accord. In the parking garage at my job, there are three Accords that look exactly the same, but there's only one Camaro.

If you think other cars fear your Camaro do you pull over to the side of the road and hide when you see a Hellcat, a CTS-V or a Z06 and I could go on and on.

Haha oh my god. I was thinking the same thing. Hilarious.

This is what happens to me. Everyone tries to out accelerate me no matter what they drive. I just pull away slowly and they look like an idiot.

I always let Camaros in when they are trying to merge or something. Ponies can wait

Like several others who have answered it seems to go both ways. Most of the time I'd say people see the car and think "I think I should stay behind the Camaro" so a merge is easy. But there are a few, mostly Mustangs and Chargers, that think they should be in front. I usually show them why they should be second in line, and then defer to sanity and just let them ahead (I doubt they they think I just backed off, but I did).

So is there a Camaro intimidation factor? I would say certainly yes.
