I saw a black camaro almost exactly resembling the one I have ordered sitting at a smaller auto sales lot, probably 50-60 cars total on the lot. I wanted to see if maybe I could sit inside it because I haven't been able to yet. I get there to find out it's a 1ss manual, no rs kit. A salesman obviously comes right out. First thing he said was 47k! I said oh reallllllyyy.... went home and built it on chevrolets webite at..... what was it.. 34 or 35k msrp

While some may consider it to be "good business" for these dealerships to mark up their prices, I think they are being a little short sighted.....it isn't just about selling that one Camaro, it is about how people are going to remember your dealership for future purchases also.

I saw plenty "marked up" Camaro's in my area and believe me, not only did I not by a Camaro from them, they would be the last place I look for my next car or my wife's next car.

I walked onto a lot and bought one for MSRP, minus GM family and the $500 for declining the option to return the car. Couldn't be happier with the experience.

And guess what? That is another car sold for them and more allotment coming and a customer who will look to them for future purchases even if they are farther away than other lots by me.
