LOL I am in the 50s and at your age, I had a fleet of muscle cars I restored or built and flipped, every day driver had headers on them and built cammed SBC engines with cams and intake and the works..... You have a LS even, and no your not into having a Family car with her anymore as apparently she was big C word and anything that came out would have had a forked tongue like her... lol My Ex never said a friggin thing about my cars, she had to drive one..... And BTW appreciated it......

bought my first 5th gen at 40 and the current SS at 44, never been much for "labels" I could afford the car, always wanted one so I bought it. don't really care what people say, I like it and that is all that matters
