I put in request for Viz to check just because I'm anxious. I don't expect any move in status though until next Friday, 10/16. At least that appears to be how everyone else has moved along in previous weeks.

We know they will be built the week of the 26th, so to me the next step that really means anything is the 3800 status with the VIN#. After that I have to hope the transformers stripes don't take to long to put on.

So, as you all can see my car was scheduled to be built the week of 10/26. But, I just got a call from my salesperson at Freeway Chevrolet yesterday saying they just got a car that was exactly the one that I ordered except it had the Boston Acoustics speakers and a spare tire option and I could take that if I wanted for $5k premium. I said no thanks, I will wait. He went down 2.5k almost instantly and I still said no thanks. He hung up and called back after 15 minutes saying he talked to his boss and was willing to go down to 1.5k, I still said no deal.

He then sent me a text message this morning asking if I was willing to pay 1k, and I told him that I would only be interested if he is will to sell it on MSRP which was still 600 more than what I had ordered. An hour later he said that he is willing to do it if I go buy from him today.

So, guess what? I have a brand spanking new IOM 1LT/RS with BA speakers and a spare tire parked in my driveway RIGHT NOW !!

Oh man, this car is such a rush. I went for a drive straight to South Mountain and it is a pleasure to drive. I LOVE IT.

I will post some pictures tomorrow.

Dang!! I wish something like that happen to me i want my car now!!! and the wait is killing me! I told my dealer that if a car comes in thats just like mine or very close let me know and he said he would. Last week i had gotten a call saying that a car came in just like the one i ordered except the color was Imperial blue and not Aqua Blue so i passed on that deal and the good thing was he was offering it for MSRP and nothing more.d

Well what I did was, posted in the dealer section here saying I wanted a car similar to the one I ordered and if any dealer had it they should let me know. Thanks to Mr.Camaro, he told me that about this car coming to the same dealership as mine and thats how I was locked it in. You guys might want to give it a try too ...
