My point exactly. It's all about skill especially in the M6 haha.

Nothing really beats the new SS throttle for throttle.

I'm the type of guy who prefers a nice driving experience, not so much racing, bragging about how much power I'm putting down, being the loudest brah on the block, you'll see me weaving through traffic on occasion...but that's just because I can, not because I'm a douche.

2 good buddies of mine drive 6th gen 2ss M6's. One got walked by a Mazda...what does that tell you?
First, the LFX in the Camaro has an 11.5 to 1 compression ratio, you should be running premium in it. At least 91, 93 octane if it is available in your area. You'll be surprised by the increase in performance. If you run the air conditioner on 87, it just kills acceleration. Once you run two tanks of premium thru it you'll never run 87 again.
What Mazda did your buddy get walked by?

I ran 87 for about 2 months or so, turned the air on one day and thought it was going to stall off the light lol. Next fill up went with 93, been there ever since!

Some kinda goddamn Miata. Who the hell knows what was going on under the hood of that thing. Around here you'll see million dollar cars, classics, and suped up four bangers around every corner. Feels get hurt.

My first car was a Trans Am with an LS1, I put nothing but premium in that thing because it's required. The LFX is rated at only "requiring" 87. Feels peppy enough for a little V6 with 87....maybe I'm still guilty of being a major V8er and assuming all V6's are timid little regular fuel sipping girly engines...I'll try premium just to see what happens...
