I agree with Justice Pete........If the Yenko Family is good with it then no one is stealing a name or marketing something to make a buck. We are in modern times and these cars represent In my opinon what would have been built by the same builders if they indeed were still in business. It's called CHANGE! I personally own a NicKey and I can assure you they do quality work, promote the name right and put a old school touch with a modern car.

I mean sure can it be built. But your talking big bucks for one of these cars. A tuner is in it to make money and sell his product. If no one is buying. I dont care if the cars got 4000HP and does the 1/4 is 2 seconds. The problem is who is going to buy if its out of the price range of many of the customers.

I guess thats what seperates the men and their money....and the price of their toys. Its all about what you wanna pay for.

What Scott said above. From the factory, order LS7 427, either trans, heavy duty susp and reasonable price. And plain no stripes. Back in the day only Z28 had stripes. Now, the dealers throw stripes on cause its easy money. So there ha

First Run off the trailer.

The objective was to to dial the Car in at 11.60 so that It could run against the Vintage Pure Stock Yenkos/COPOs and not require a cage.

Not doubting the performance, but asthetically, I'd have left the grilles black, but that's just me. All that silver makes the front of the car look like a cheap, Chinese toy Camaro.

It was built to commemorate the 1969 Vintage Yenko Camaro and they did have argent/Silver grills.

One of the best things about custom built cars is that you can build them any way YOU want.

Thanks for your input.

Here it is prior to the argent grill along with a Blue Vintage Yenko that we had at the First Camaro 5 Fest.

That yellow one is cool, not as frilly as some of those continuation cars get. The old Yenkos and other specialty cars would not run $5,000 wheels and fancy leather seats.

The likes of Motion, Berger, Yenko and NicKey all offered the "hot" wheels of the day as an option. Some even had their very own custom wheels.
