Man zzibradleyizz I wish I hadn't looked at your status list in your signature. My VIN is about 500 cars after yours and the last printout my dealer gave me has it at 3800 on the 29 of Dec. Looks like mine was just finished off BUT may not have left the line onto the shipping lot. CRAP if that is true then it won't be ready till next week, maybe. Unless the quality check stuff isn't affected by the line changes they're doing. In which case I might see it this week after all.

Rc, by the looks of it to me was that your car was produced before the Christmas break begun for the factory. To me it looks like they didn't finish the paperwork till the 29th (the first day back to work for most companies).

So it looks to me that they built the car, but didn't complete the administrative tasks before the holiday.

Ideally both of our cars we're built before the Christmas Break and chances are both of them are sitting next to each other waiting to get put on that same truck!

Your scenario is correct and my car is sitting in the shipping yard waiting for your car to be available to ship so they can be shipped together! If that's the case, I hate you right now...lol

Doing some more thinking I noticed you have stripes on your car. That would add at least half a day or more to take it to the striping place and back. Mine is without stripes so that should save it a couple hours there. It may very well be that both our cars might be on the same truck. Isn't it sad that we are trying to figure out where are cars are to the hours. I need to stop thinking about this or I WILL go insane.

The thing is my car is ready. The stripes have been put on and everything. It's just sitting there in the yard and not moving for some reason!

Actually, the weather has been really bad, so I'm not really miffed about it. I won't be driving my new Camaro on salty roads.

I stopped at my dealer yesterday and they didn't even realize the Camaro factory is closed until Jan. 11.

I would go and sabotage the rail car with your car on it then!

Remember, I'm only about an hour away from the Plant! Could go there after work one day actually too, I'm only about 15 minutes away from the plant when at work! =P



If that really happened though...it really shows us Canadians get no love up here lol

If those dates are correct that means my car is waiting FOR YOUR car. I can't believe the car has been ready for so long. WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY WAITING FOR!!!! They could have just called me and I would have been over there in a minute to pick it up, no trouble at all.

Judging by this code at least SOME of your car is built. Meaning yours might be ready for the train before Monday (they have a weekend shift I believe). And look at it this way, at least your car hasn't been sitting fully built in a lot less than an hour away from you for over TWO weeks!

I got one better. I live only a 5 minute walk from the tracks those rail cars run on (by the Lakeshore). This winter weather has a bad effect on those rails and switches.
