Final snow report. Drove Camaro in full blizzard conditions yesterday and other than having to employ some common sense the Camaro was fine. Things I learned about driving the car VS. what people have said. Turning off traction control like some have said leads the car to handle like older gen Camaros. Keep it on with it I had no problems pulling off or skidding.

very cool video, thanks for posting that . . . glad to see they did not require studs to get decent traction on the ice . . . and it makes a real good case for true winter tires versus the "all seasons"

but of course all of us who have driven in new england since before the days of front wheel drive already knew that if we think back far enough . . . actually now that I think about it, I remember thinking when I first drove front wheel drive in the snow: "hmmm . . . this gives pretty good traction, but kinda sucks when the drive wheels break loose . . . I think I like having the rear end swinging around better than having the front end going straight"

this is very good news, will help eliminate my wife's objection #1 ("why buy a car that you can't drive in winter, so you have to buy another one for winter") so I can work on objection #2 ("I can't see over the dashboard")

sounds like I should figure in the cost of a set of winter wheels and tires
