Who got a call today???

Did anyone else get a call today from the dealership about their Camaro?

The good folks at Classic called to let me know that the Camaro was delayed.

Also, has anyone here gotten the second letter from GM with web access, etc.?

Nope...I sent two emails and made two calls without anything back from them...I'm driving down tomorrow morning though to see if they are going to order my V8 with their first V8 allocation though...

I don't mind the delay but I don't want to see a V8 car in their showroom before I have mine!!

I ordered my car with Henna Chevrolet in Austin. I got the #3 spot in line. I want to thank all those on this forum for helping me out. I don't like spending this much on a car, but I really want this car. I ordered a 2SS Cyber Grey Metallic with black leather and standard transmission. Thanks yall!!

Well my deal with Henna Chevrolet fell through. Oh well on the hunt again. Henna Chevrolet is a good place to deal with it's just that the camaro I was going to order ended up being taken. Long story.

I think I did...made another post about it but basically they said since I am #1 with them, if they get an allocation without any constraints, they would order my Camaro as soon as possible!

They are going to honor sold orders (6 of 13 sold) first before lot cars.

Of course that's me putting faith in them to actually do that...which I beleive they will.

Toby called me that day too, and let me know the details. Getting my Camaro was meant to be......they will now start production on my birthday!

I got my 2nd letter too, but I think it was from my first order with Stonebriar (cancelled). It would be cool if I got 2 letters

Dont wast your time with Clobberthon, Parkway, Monday, Long Star or Mac Haik. all are is deam land too mush over MSRP and non refundable deposits.
If you want I ordered mine at Davis Chevrolet with no hastle and no arguments just straigt up Deal.
The must unbeliable was Parkway 5 Miles from my house and just bought a Travers 2 weeks ago and they wouldnt even consider under 5K over MSRP and 2K deposit great seales person and finance personal but The owner has the last word on every deal and the sales manager has responsability but no authority to deal its just a figure in a Big glass Box.

Awsome! I'll go in tomorrow and let them know that Camaro Scotty sent me and mentioned something about 500.00 over invoice!

Question no patience with waiting

Ok, I have read all the post..still on the fence about pre-ordering this close to production roll out. I have had 3 cars that were "first few" on rollouts (Cadillac CTS, Chrysler PT, and Honda CRV). The only car that i have EVER been willing to pay MSRP on is my Plymouth Prowler. The camaro would be a second. I bought a 74 as a senior ('89) in high school and fell in love. My dad pushed Mopar all my life since that is what he raced..69 superbee, 70 valiant, 70 duster( all packed w/ 440 hemi's)..i still regret the day my hubby made me sell my camaro..not only is it now gone, but so is he..long story short.. i am ready to have my camaro back! FINALLY. I live in the DFW metroplex and have Classic Chevrolet near by..whew. here's my question..has anyone heard what the wait will be for the V8's.. and will it be manual or auto trans first..no one at the car show could tell me!
I am dreaming of an RS/2SS V8 manual in Silver Ice
