My car shifts smoothly, but between 1st and 2nd, when I let out the clutch the motor feels like it stops firing for a split second. It has a huge flat spot that makes the whole car buck. It will also do it between 2nd and 3rd. Doesn't matter what RPM I'm at.
The dealer tried to tell me I just didn't know how to drive the car. I've been driving a stick shift car for over 25 years I know it isn't me. My VIN is 50xxx and I have about 400 miles on the car. Can I expect the tough shifting to develop and will my bucking and kicking stop with more miles? |

For normal driving, there is no problem. For "spirited" driving, it's clunky getting into second, and by the time it is in, I've lost the initial momentum.
