removing weight is a mod = not stock.
tire pressure is all opinion anyways. Some people will say that dropping tire pressure on a street tire will hurt performance, others say it will help. Atleast with tire pressure it is debatable whether it even helps. |

Stock = no changes from factory setting or specifications. For better or worse.
This shouldn't be that hard. Most people only care to make some stock track passes or dyno runs and then begin modifications.

So then there is no such thing as a stock car with more then 5000 miles? People do have to change oil as routine maintenance along with filters and other lubricants and plugs/wires. IMO the only way to change a car from stock is to actually remove a bolt or fastener in order to replace a component. This is why mild mods are called bolt-on's.

I believe lowering tire pressure is not a mod but enhances traction thus making it fall out of bone stock catagory.

Man I thought the cobalt forums were bad, camaro owners are real bad. Do any of you guys in here really even goto the track? If you did you would know what type of difference these things make. Even with my slicks I will spin them at 15psi but hook like crazy at 12 psi.
