This allows you to have HID and halos. You're adding the factory RS headlights to your car.

Anyone know the best way to get the Ottobody adapter? I emailed them using the address in this thread, is that the best way or do they have a online store that sells the adapter?
thanks

Hahah they don't have a website and they suck as responding to emails. Took me 2 months to get them to sell me the adapter. But it works great. Just keep emailing.

Their wiring harness has the plugs so all you have to do is pull out the old headlight, put in the new RS headlight, plug the factory headlight plug into the Otto Body wiring harness and then the wiring harness into the RS headlight. The white wire is for the Halo, and for that they said to cut the middle wire on the turn signal bulb and connect it to that.

Here is and RS headlight powered by their wiring harness. I didn't connect the halo yet since I won't get my other headlight until Monday.

whats the white wire for? and is there enough power for the hids to work? do the lights function the same as if they were on a rs car? do the halos run during the daytime?

Hey guys i would first off like to appologize for my lack of communication!! I know many of you are getting very irritated, which i can totally understand! but also everyone must also understand that I am trying to not only keep up with new orders, but also solve the issue with the diodes, and do my many other tasks at hand with the vehicles in our shop.

I have been out in California as we were revealing our 2011-1969 GTO judge conversion at the Academy awards in L.A., i then had Meetings with multiple producers interested in our vehicle conversions.

I currently have a list of NEW customers that i have started to compile, I have just gotten into the shop today and will continue to get caught up with these harness'.

If you are interested in being added to the new customer list please call my cell phone at 402-540-1098, This is my personal cell phone number I am trying to keep everyone happy and I am doing my Best as a human to get everything resolved and taken care of.

Again thank you for your patience.

Weird thing happend today, started my car and saw my OEM drivers side HID flicker. I put on the brights for a second and went back to my low beams and it stopped. I tried over and over to get it to do it again and no luck. Should I be worried? My HID's are from a Non-RS to RS conversion w/Ottobody harness. Anybody else ever have this happen?

If only it were as easy as they make it look on that video to remove an SS bumper. Those 3x 10mm screws were kind of a pain and that bumper doesnt just freely pop off like that. Gotta put quite a bit of muscle behind it.

Blast from the past . . .

So has anyone else has issues with the Otto Body harness kit and flickering lights?
My lights started flickering occasionally, maybe a year or two ago. It was rare. I just got a 2013 and install the lights in there. They seem to be flickering more and more. Probably just a coincidence that I put them in a new car.

Could this be something easy and cheap, like needing new bulbs? Or Ballasts? Or do I need whole new $800 headlights? Or is it a problem with the Otto harness?

I have heard of this issue many times......it seems to be they are not using good relays, i would go with gen5diy.com non rs to rs harness.....i have had about 20 of them and never got one back.

Its the fact that the harness keeps the headlights on as DRL's the RS headlight was not meant to work as a DRL, it need the full power of the normal headlight power, if you get new Ballasts that will work for some time but not long.
