I'm sure they're both for CAFE.
As far as them winning if there is a 4 cylinder again, i don't agree with that. I mean, my brother has a Mazda 626, 2001, and it has as much horsepower as my 68 327 did. Of course, the new Camaro is really heavy, so it's not going to accelerate as good with a 4 cyl. Now , it does worry me if that's the only engine available. With this stupid 35 mpg thing....
With the Corvette they can get away with it, because it's low volume. With the cars, they can adapt eventually, but i don't know what you do with trucks. Because they will still be selling hundreds of thousands. Not as many as they have, but still a lot, and they can never get that kind of fuel mileage.
It's very sad how they are saying Palin isn't qualified for this, or for that. Damn! none of these people work in the private sector, or know a thing, about anything!

I think this last summer has kinda' brought America back to reality and made many of us reconsider the vehicles we buy.
trust me the colorado has plenty of guts, i drove the v8 at the test drive and i think my i5 is faster, the I5 is very rev happy, that v8 seems slow...=(

that isnt to say im not working on a 6.0l conversion for it =P

the 5.3 just seemed slow idk

Sorry guys this is not the place for political discussions. If you'd like you can start a new tread on this in the politics subtopic.

Thanks for cooperating.

Sorry, just trying to learn more about CAFE. We'll keep it elsewhere...

^No problem at all.

We just want to keep the political stuff hidden away in that dark hole at the back of the closet under the stairs that go down to the basement....

That sounds exactly like a proper home for political discussion.

Unfortunately, CAFE IS about the most political topic in Congress this year.

I don't think you can have a discussion about it without politics.

That's why CAFE really sucks - politicians have managed to weasel their way into about the last thing on earth that was apolitical - cars. It used to be the rich and working class people alike still agreed on fast cars...... it was just that one of them drove Camaros and the other Ferraris!

Now they're both being screwed!

Agreed, I should have been more clear. We dont' want it to be part of any presidential election conversations.
