Nothing is True
|
The first dealership I went to tried various tactics to scam me...and I'm embarassed to admit, the excitement of buying the Camaro almost caused me to fall for their BS. The dealership stated a number of lies and misrepresentations about both the car and the financing options. They toyed with me for hours on a Saturday so I wouldn't have time to shop other dealerships that weekend and then lied and told me they had financing approved for an unbelievably low rate, but couldn't finalize until Monday morning (in fact, they hadn't even secured any credit). The entire sales team, in my opinion, were whacked out on coke.
Fortunately, I stepped back, took a breath, and went to another dealership where everyone was calm and cool and seemed honest. The salesman knew about and loved all aspects of the Camaro for decades. Buying my car at the second dealership was a relaxing, low pressure situation and I felt very comfortable with everything. To me, this was a great lesson at how two dealerships can approach sales in such different ways -- the high pressure BS method or honest "we want your future business too" method.

Wow that dealer defiantly took advantage of you, im sorry to hear about your problems. I just bought my Camaro and it was also my first brand new car. I got it from CamaroScotty and my experience couldnt have been better. If I was you I might go as far as to at least speak with a lawyer and tell them what is going on and they may be able to help you out if they are really being dishonest. Im pretty sure you could at least talk to one and he could let you know if he could help you out, if so you could pay him with the money he gets you back and wouldnt be out all of it. Just a suggestion. Good luck

I have a few words that more accurately describe his dealer.

I agree with this. You appear to be sacrificing a lot for this car (I can't believe i called it a 'car' either), I hope you arn't sacrificing something you care about more. Family, friends, free time...

another tip when you are hunting for a loan. Let the bank know how much you are putting down, that helps alot. They are much more willing to give you a 15k loan if they know you are putting down 11k.

i didn't hear about your story but sacrificing so much for a vehicle almost gaurantees that you will have a tough time ever accumulating any savings...since its a depreciating asset
you should have spent that time learning a new trade that payed more money and then get the car when you could comfortably afford it i know it sucks that you had to learn the hard way but if you can get out of the vehicle asap and focus on your earning potential first

OK now that so many have chimed in on your behalf and feel for you, how about reciprocating and helping the next guy out.
List the dealer that pulled this BS !
