Just thought I'd mention-

Came a cross a 5th gen (CGM SS with Foose wheels) today, and the 17ish kid at the wheel was uncool. Tried to give him a thumbs up or some kind of neighborly gesture, and as soon as he saw I was lookin his way, he shot his eyes straight forward- just like a middle-aged suburban female driving a BMW might do.

He then sped off once the light turned green, and basically ran the next red to lose me.

I have a 4th gen and the new SS, I like them for different reasons, I like driving the 5th gen...I like that I took the insurance off the 4th gen. I complimented a 2002 anniversary edition SS and the A$$ gave me the finger, All I said was I know the 5th gen is big and powerfull, I wish it was smaller like yours...

I've had one come over and say that he thought he had the best car in the apartment complex until I brought mine home.

I always do a light flash to other 5th Gen owners in my area. Always get one back too. Don't get much out of the 4th Gens though.
