Pony car owners are typically going to be wed to one brand, and the one that piles the hundreds highest is usually going to be the fastest. And, yes, even Mustang lovers don't like the rear ends.

The 5th gen is an awesome looking car.......... that Mustang is "butt" ugly. I too am partial to the Camaro. Just dont like the Mustang from the back!

I love Mustangs for the most part, but that rear is just ugly. The front is not bad, but still not as sharp as previous Stangs. Don't worry they will fix it... hopefully soon.

although I agree with a bunch of you that the rear end of the ford is not pretty to say the least.

I do wish the camaro would have had the RS. the halos would have really jumped in several of the pics

kinda sad to see those baby 1/4 times from LPE...

since we are posting honest opinions, and not starting flame wars...

i think both cars are pathetic... if those 1/4 times are legit... then yes i do mean they are pathetic...

70K to run 12's is ridiculous... i dont care if JC himself designed that car, id look him straight in the eye and say... seriously?!...

Mustang isnt so bad, but i can honestly say id be happier spending under half the amount on a 1SS like i did... hell id be happy with a GT premium and im not even a Ford fan!

Sorry for the rant, just a little P.O.ed...

It's ok......There is just a little mis-information because people see the 69K price tag and thats what they think it took to run low 12's on street tires spinning all over

I have the 570 package and it cost me $10k, so on a 2SS/RS it cost me 45k to go 12.2 on the street and mid 11's with DR's. Now if you add up all the other additions like wheels, tires, clutch, half shafts, shifter, brakes, suspension etc - you get the extra cost.

Don't like the ugly patches all over either of the cars, and the boost gage in the air duct sucks!
The Mtang is ugly for sure.

I just quit buying them years ago.
