Not many Challengers or Camaros in the Burbs of the Twin Cities.

Not me... Maybe see one Chally per week, and usually at least one Camaro every day.

Saturday I took a drive up to Eugene (about 4 hours away). On the way I saw only one other Challenger..a plum crazy SRT no less, and about 8 Camaros. Once I got into Eugene itself I saw another 5 Camaros.

I see more Challengers as I am driving around, but they are ALL sat on lots. No-one is buying them, as they are so overpriced.

I was thinking of trading in my Jeep on my 2011 Camaro, so I went by the Jeep/Dodge dealer locally to see what they would give me for it. On the lot, they had 12 Challengers, 8 of them were SRT8s, 3 Hemi R/Ts and one V6. The V6 was $29k, the Hemi's were $38k and the SRT8s were all $45k.

The dealer asked why I was selling and I said, I'd ordered a nice 2011 Camaro 2SS. He said what did you pay for it. I said I am in the $36k ballpark. He said no way, how did you manage that, that's a $47k car! I said no, it's a $36k car. He said I thought the V6's were min $30ks. I said no, they start at a lil over $22k up to around $30k for a well appointed one.

He said, well didn't you consider a Challenger? I said, it was in the running along with the Mustang, but being $10k more for less power and a slower all round vehicle, the choice was easy!

I then left!

Since I decided to get a camaro a year ago (got it on Friday finally) I have only seen 5 Camaros on the road. Tons of Mustangs and about 10 or so Challengers.
I'm hoping more will be out now that spring is here.

I've seen more Camaro's in my town than Challengers, I'm a big fan of both cars and enjoy seeing both. Most of the cars I have seen are either SE's or LT's not a thing wrong with that but with all the SS sales and SS constraints I figured I'd see more SS's. If I could afford it I'd have a Camaro and a Challenger sitting in my driveway .

South of Dallas where I live you will see many 5th gens and they by far outnumber the Challenger, however like previously mentioned, mustangs are like roaches around here.

I know some time has passed and there are a lot more on the road, but I saw few in Toronto/MI living there and down here in Texas I passed NINE on a 5 minute drive to get a cup of coffee yesterday! NINE! One was even green! One was parked at Starbucks so I talked to the guy and asked if he knew about C5, he didn't, so I encouraged him to check it out. So, if the guy from yesterday is on and reading this I am the crazy lady who stalked you down yesterday in the CTS (not even a Camaro, lol)!
