Personally I think most of you are just as bad. This thread is full of bad karma.

When I read all these posts belittling others who buy Hondas or "ricers" or put fart-cans on their cars, I think you're all just as bad.

I think those "adults" were trying to have some fun. They're not stupid, and I think it's presumptuous to think they are. They know you have a faster car, but they want to see you use it - just like people pay to see drag races - because they want to see fast cars go fast.

I see there are two varieties of this type of thread:
1) guy pulls up in a faster car like a Corvette and disses you
2) guy pulls up in a slower car and you diss them (like this thread).

What's the difference?

I propose all males with an ego problem stick those bull testicles on the back of their car, with a size relative to the speed of their car. That way you can all look at each other's balls and that'll be the end of that.

haven't had any ricers try to race me yet.. but I live in a pretty wealthy area of Northern VA, so maybe that has something to do with it. I'm hoping when I get a job as a Police Officer I can put lights on my car, and pull over kids who try to race me at lights..

I have hated these four banger pieces of crap since I saw and heard the first fart can going down the road. I dont know what makes me angrier. The fact that they think they actually have power and utilize big useless wings or the fact they are egotistical about it. Now I am not saying that there are not some damn fast turbo four bangers out there because I have seen my share of 600-700hp units on the dyno but they are VERY rare. 99.99% are just turning fuel into noise. That they do well!

I had a young guy in an older Mustang do that to me yesterday in really heavy traffic. I just had to laugh as he drove off like an idot. I'm not dumb and I won't engage people like that. I also had an older guy in a new Mustang try to race me on the highway coming home from the mall today. I just smiled and let him go right on by.

Well, that's not as what happened to me last week when I left Lowes. This guy, who was parked behind me, pulled up next to me in this bright yellow truck, honked the horn to get me to roll down the window, then proceeded to tell me how nice my car looked and he loved the way it sounded. With all due respect m'am this sentence does little toreversethe stereotype. I'd be more impressed if you "put the new cam and heads in it" yourself. That said, I could not do the job either but my friend's wife could. LOL

About 8 years ago there was an 80's Accord that wanted to race me when I had one of my 5.0s. I totally kicked his butt but also got caught my the police and ended up being charged with reckless driving. I actually would have gotten away but because of the road I turned on it had barriers on both sides and a car in front of my stopped because he saw cop lights coming down behind us, which we were far enough I could have alluded. But I learned how stupid that was.

Will say that last week some guy an an 80's 911 Turbo wanted to show me how cool he was and was taking off to speed up to traffic and to exit the freeway. I don't think he was trying to race, too much traffic, but he knew he was about to exit and just wanted to show me how his sub 300hp was so much faster then mine.

I just don't feel the need to speed in this thing. I swear, I pretty much stay in 1st, 4th and 6th gears. I do let her rip every now and then but racing, what's the point? Everyone knows I am one of the faster cars on the road.
