Yes they USED to be crap but now they are so far ahead of Microsoft it isnt even funny. So much simpler and run so smoothly and iv never seen a virus in my life.

Apple with GM sure that'd be cool but it wont happen.. good thought.
That must be it.

Those two iPhones I owned were just figments of my imagination.

It couldn't be that I got tired of being told what I could do with my phone, and what I could run on it, and not being able to put my OWN software on MY phone.

And it couldn't be that I don't like giving apple my money so they can use it on a bunch of frivolous lawsuits.

Nah, I just havent used any of their stuff.

Same goes with OSX btw. I don't like my options being limited to what uncle steve thinks I'll need/want.

funny you mention that as I actually find the best sound quality with the most bass through the head phone jack on my iphone on to the jack on the GPS thing in the corner. CD has great volume, but lacks the bass of the Ipod source. But the vette has a kick ass stock system. I never listened to the camaro radio (need to do this) but the vettes bass is amazing, and so is the clarity.

Easier than having EVERYTHING you own on one device that is easily searchable? (And even easier if you use playlists.)

They take rights on your phone to track what is been searched and looked at i was joking about everything by the way. Read the fine print its in there, JUst like apple says you can not use any of there products to make nuclear weapons. http://www.businessweek.com/technolo...0949_tc024.htm take a look
I'll give you that they bought it. Though what they bought vs. what it is now is...but whatever.

But they do NOT track everything. AdSense works in a way that doesn't need to track you. In, for instance, gmail, the ads are based on keywords in the most recent emails, or the currently open email. Open an email where you are talking to someone about going to the dentist, it will display ads for dentists.

That doesn't mean it tracks you.

It DOESN'T track you. There is no way in HELL the linux crowd would glom onto a linux based OS that phones home on everything you do.

Its easier to just pop a cd in with 20 tracks and go up and down, instead of a device with 2-4 thousand songs trying to search through artist, song, etc while driving at 60 mph.

swap the gtx260 for the new HD 5880 or the STILL waiting for 400 series nvidia cards and u will be blown away. From what you got only spending 3k on it is cheap u got the hook you.

So it looks for key words and changes ads based on that seems like tracking to me. It watches what u do and say and changes it self based on that. And everything changes its been 5 years since it was bought so yes it will change. But they did buy it.
