I will be heading out in the morning to meet the Central Florida group in Ocala. It should be a cool drive to Valdosta!

My car is bombarded by bugs from the 8 hour trip. I'm getting up early and doing a good detail. see you guys tomorrow!

Did you guys bring your own products or are you meeting somewhere for a clean up? I'd love to meet up with some members who are cleaning their cars. I wasn't able to do anything with mine last night since I got home after dark and my front end and windshield are trashed...:(

I think I'm going to try and find a local place in the morning and just use the pressure washer on some of the grime and get the dust, pollen and bugs off, Then clean it good when I get home since I'll just have to do it all again, since I'm working during the fest next to or near Junkman, maybe he'll help me out a bit

Hubby and I went downtown to eat at a place called the Bleu Cafe, it was really good and quite affordable compared to Columbus restaurants. Something everyone might want to try out tomorrow.

We are at the host hotel too, parked out front. So what's on the schedule for tomorrow? We can't go to the track in the morning according to Spike, someone else has the track and unless you are a vendor I guess it's off limits unless they leave early.

I was thinking after breakfast, wash the bugs off and detail, maybe hit the pool? Anyone game?

p.s. I can't sleep... to excited... this is not a good thing... time to go read and distract my mind.

Well 21 hours after our day began we finally arrived here in Valdosta. Drove straight through from the southwest suburbs of Chicago. Just about 1000 miles or so...

Can't wait to start meeting some people tomorrow! Keep an eye out for our Twin Turbo Nickey car and say hi!
