lights

If you want the darker taillights...I'm sure those will be available later, as darker plastic is not complicated. You can buy blackout lights for mustang that are much darker than these RS lenses, and still light up red. Looks sweet on a black car. Would look good to have something like that on a black camaro.

Silver SS badge would look better on a black SS anyways, not red.

Then the only other thing you want from the RS, the HIDs, can't you get GMs HIDs from their replacement parts department later??? along with wiring and switch?

I think that would be the best option, but I have a feeling it will be expensive.

Just thought I'd say that HID's run cooler (temp wise) than Halogen Bulbs, not hotter... They won't explode or melt things...

As far as aftermarket, 90% is junk. I learned this the hard way in the Cobalt. Very few HID kits are quality and they obviously aren't the cheap ones. Good ones cost 300-450 easily (Hi and Low beam). And thats not for Halos, halos and HID's are very different things... Most aftermarket halos are also junk...

Just my two cents.

Either buy the RS package or stick with the non-RS lights. Both look great!

thats it, im done. if you dont get it now you never will
I have mentioned this before and I still don't understand as well where people get confused over this issue. If you order the RS package and then order the polished rims, the difference in price of the midnight silver wheels vs the standard wheels should be removed whatever the price may be..

I havent orderd mine yet, but this is one issue id like to talk about.
Has it been addressed yet?
If I want the RS package, I dont want to pay extra from something I dont want.
IE, the painted darker silver metallic wheels. I want the polished wheels, but I want the other RS options as well. Will the dealer deduct the difference off the painted wheels that come with the RS package if you order the polished wheels?
Thanks, and yes I have read the thread and thats why I am here as I seen this to be an issue when ordering SS/RS. It does not surprise me in the least.
