Now if we could just a similar answer from Scott on the blue...

And congrats to everyone who wanted the polished wheels on the RS! Personally, I'm sticking with the midnight silver (I like the look and it saves some money). But I know you guys are happy and that's what matters... that we all get the car we REALLY want. I'm sure some dealers are gonna have some changed orders in the next day or two...

I also like the fact that gauges and leather have some sense of exclusivity.
+1

Nothing like having spent all your money on a V8... and people come up to you on car night and go "Woah... so hows that V6?" ... Me " It's a SS - has a V8... see the badge"... them "Ohh, well my friend just got the v6 RS and yours just looks exactly the same... my bad"

Uhhhhhhhgggg *shudder*

And no, 99% of people won't know the mailslot is for the V8 unless they actually have a new camaro, and 90% of people who buy camaros probably wont even notice the SS has a different lower grill. Of course the SS badge should be a givaway, however people are stupid - on my motorcycle I have a big Victory badge on the tank, and people always tell me "Nice Harley"... uhhhg

Of course with that rant being done with, I also realize that there's not that big a difference between silver and polished wheels that people will notice... it's just nice having a distinction between top of the line and what not

I am happy for everyone that wanted this but for me, the only distinction from the side view of the car has now been removed. :(

I think this is pretty damn cool that GM is really listening to us. It's nice to know they are really listening and making the adjustments to try to make their loyal customer base happy. It's awesome to know we are all getting the opportunity to play a instumental role in the final dvelopment of a car in this way. I have faith for those who want blue to be an option on the SS. I also have faith now that if those who want it can speak and be heard loud enough to get a Z28 or some Camaro form capable of winning the pony wars hands down.

Dec 3rd I upgraded to Polished 20" wheels. It was $540CAN more. I will still get 22"s but in the mean time I dont think midnight silver is right for SIM 2SS/RS Camaro.

The only way I'll get Polished 20" if GM offers red brembo brakes.
